NAVER is strengthening the competitiveness of its user-centered streaming platform through a strategic partnership with the global esports league ecosystem surrounding the LCK and related content.

NAVER (CEO Choi Soo-yeon) recently announced that it has signed a strategic agreement with Riot Games, covering the period 2026 to 2030. The agreement includes broadcasting rights for major overseas leagues such as the LCK, LPL, and LEC, as well as international tournaments including the World Championship, MSI, and First Stand, exclusive naming rights for LoL Park, and official LCK sponsorship rights, marking the start of full-scale cooperation to expand the global esports ecosystem.

Under this agreement, NAVER will secure domestic broadcasting rights to the League of Legends Champions Korea (LCK) for 5 years starting in 2026. In addition, NAVER will obtain official LCK sponsorship rights and, as the exclusive streaming platform partner, will plan content and pursue online and offline promotional events leveraging LCK intellectual property.

At the same time, the official LCK stadium located in Jongno-gu, Seoul, will be renamed “CHZZK LoL Park,” a change that will also be reflected across platforms such as NAVER Map. Inside the venue, CHZZK-branded seating zones will be in operation, and a dedicated CHZZK operations booth will be newly established, allowing esports fans to experience the CHZZK brand more immersively on site.

In addition, a “viewing drops” feature will be introduced in Korea, enabling users to link their NAVER and CHZZK accounts with their League of Legends accounts to receive in-game item rewards. NAVER also plans to pursue various collaborative initiatives across its primary services, including shopping, reservations, and N Pay.

NAVER’s streaming platform CHZZK has secured exclusive Korean-language broadcasting rights for the Esports World Cup, the world’s largest global esports tournament, for three years from 2025 to 2027, and continues to deliver highly immersive viewing experiences through live broadcasts and co-viewing of major esports content such as the League of Legends World Championship.

Meanwhile, to commemorate the acquisition of LCK broadcasting rights, NAVER is running a promotion through January 18 in which users who follow the CHZZK LCK channel and enable notifications will receive N Pay Wallet preseason art with a 100 percent guarantee, along with a chance to win up to 50,000 N Pay points through a draw.
