Lunacell Inc., which operates the skin-science-based derma-cosmetic brand Dr.Gentle, announced that it has signed a business agreement (MOU) with SlogK, a French local distribution platform, to enter the French market and cooperate on distribution.
Through this agreement, Dr.Gentle secures entry into “DANAYAD,” a K-fashion and lifestyle O2O select shop SlogK operates in Paris’s Marais district, and begins full-scale B2C sales to European consumers. The brand also plans to expand its presence in France as a derma brand by conducting B2B sales through pharmacy channels, leveraging SlogK’s local network.
Dr. Gentle already confirmed its market potential by participating in “Cosmetic 360 2025,” held at the Carrousel du Louvre on October 15–16, and by operating a pop-up store on Rue Saint-Honoré from October 17–23. Since then, the brand has strengthened its foundation for European expansion through buyer meetings, influencer promotion, and online campaigns.
Cosmetic 360 is a premium exhibition hosted by Cosmetic Valley, Europe’s largest cosmetics industry cluster. At the event, Dr. Gentle showcased its representative products, including “CICA Cooling Soothing Gel” and “CICA Cooling Sun Serum SPF50+ PA++++,” along with its low-irritation derma line, backed by clinical data from Korean burn-specialized hospitals, drawing strong interest from global buyers.
Lunacell CEO Jaehoon Kim said, “This agreement with SlogK is an important turning point that connects the local demand we confirmed through the exhibition and pop-up to a sustainable distribution structure,” and added, “We will expand Dr.Gentle’s brand experience in the French market starting with entry into DANAYAD, and build a Europe-optimized growth model with a two-track B2C and B2B strategy that includes pharmacy distribution.”
Through this collaboration, Lunacell plans to expand B2B cooperation with European buyers from France, secure distribution channels through global online platforms, and launch new microbiome-based cream and ampoule products next year to complete a Europe-tailored portfolio.
