PCNC (CEO Duckki Kim), operator of ‘TOAPING,’ an AI-based reading and Korean language education service, announced that it received a Special Award at the ‘10th 1EdTech Japan Awards’ held in Japan on Monday, November 17.

1EdTech Japan hosted the awards ceremony at Sola City Hall in Ochanomizu, Tokyo, Japan. This year, winners were announced across four categories: Grand Prize, Excellence Award, Special Award, and Encouragement Award. It is considered exceptional for a Korean edutech company to receive a Special Award, which signifies international recognition of the TOAPING Reading service’s technological prowess and educational value.

TOAPING Reading systematically offers interest-based book recommendations for individual students, along with pre-reading, during-reading, and post-reading activities, supporting literacy improvement and the development of sustainable reading habits. This award is significant because it officially recognizes TOAPING Reading’s service quality and educational achievements, demonstrating compliance with 1EdTech’s international technical standards.

Duckki Kim, CEO of PCNC, stated, “This award is profoundly meaningful as it signifies international recognition for our service, which we have diligently developed to deepen and enrich children’s reading experiences and habits.” He added, “We will continue to expand our services to help students improve their literacy through reading and foster a love for books.”

Meanwhile, PCNC continues to collaborate with domestic and international educational institutions, leveraging its AI-based recommendation engine, personalized reading services, and blockchain-based reading history management technology. With this award, the company plans to accelerate the global market entry of its reading-based Korean language education service.
