“Where Tomorrow Is Created Today.” Geeks Loft (CEO Scott Seongwook Lee) is a global hardware company that has designed new user experiences at the intersection of technology and imagination, reflecting the philosophy this phrase embodies.

Based in Seongnam, Gyeonggi-do, the company values translating complex technologies into forms that users can naturally accept. It has developed interactive devices guided by two principles: intuitive use without additional learning and practicality in everyday life.

Geeks Loft has focused on merging audio and visual technologies to break existing boundaries. By adding visual experiences to a market for wearables that traditionally centered on audio, the company aims to expand the role of headphones from a device for “listening” to one that also allows users to see, capture, and share — creating an entirely new category.

This vision becomes clearer through the company’s integrated development system, where hardware, software, and design operate as a single team. Starting from real use cases, each field is co-designed to refine the user experience by translating complex technical elements into simple, approachable interfaces.

The product that best embodies this philosophy is the smart headphone “Perisphere.” Perisphere is the world’s first smart headphone equipped with visual functionality, enabling music playback, video watching, 3D video recording, and real-time sharing seamlessly in one device. It connects wirelessly to a smartphone to support a continuous flow of “listening-watching-recording-sharing.” The name combines “Peri” (surrounding) and “Sphere” (space/world), reflecting the goal of expanding the user’s experiential world.

The most notable feature of Perisphere is its display band, which drops down in front of the eyes only when needed. When the screen is not required, the band can be lifted to function like a regular headphone, reducing the burden of wearing it. It addresses the complexity and fatigue often associated with VR and AR devices, while offering an everyday interface suitable for public environments. Dual stereoscopic cameras and stereo microphones capture the user’s perspective in 3D with immersive sound, and touch controls and smartphone connectivity simplify content management and real-time sharing.

Over the past four years, Geeks Loft has enhanced wearing stability, weight balance, display visibility, and connection reliability through 10 rounds of design revisions, more than 30 patent applications, and feedback from over 1,000 users. This integrated design approach and emphasis on everyday usage scenarios led to global recognition. Perisphere won the Best of Innovation Award in the “Headphones & Personal Audio” category at CES 2026, affirming both its technological direction and design quality.

Geeks Loft views its participation in CES 2026 and its Innovation Award win as more than a technical showcase. The company sees CES as an opportunity to accelerate market validation and commercialization. At the world’s largest consumer electronics event, it plans to advance partnership, investment, certification, and mass-production discussions simultaneously, establishing a firm foundation for global expansion. Since CES’s Eureka Park has long served as a hub for early-stage innovators building international networks, Geeks Loft considers this stage the starting point for major business expansion.

The company’s market strategy centers on the United States. Geeks Loft is reviewing the establishment of a U.S. subsidiary or corporate transition to strengthen North American investment and partnerships, while also preparing local distribution channels and market testing. At the same time, it is pursuing major global certifications, including FCC and CE, while building a stable supply chain and phased mass-production plans.

Aiming to launch in the first half of 2026, the company plans to enter the market through global crowdfunding platforms such as Kickstarter and Indiegogo, and expand into healthcare and entertainment use cases. In particular, through collaboration with Brain Vector, an Australian AI-based mental health content company, Geeks Loft is jointly developing immersive content for athlete mental care and wellness, demonstrating Perisphere’s value not only in daily life but also in professional fields.

Geeks Loft’s mid- to long-term vision goes beyond establishing a new category of smart headphones. The company aims to evolve Perisphere into an AI-based everyday interface and grow into a global platform company connecting hardware, software, and content in one ecosystem. By offering user experiences where audio and visual elements blend naturally, Geeks Loft plans to expand users’ sensory worlds and build a hardware platform that connects to industries such as content creation, entertainment, and wellness.

The company plans to meet with global partners and investors in person at CES 2026 to refine collaboration models further. Those interested in experiencing the new “audiovisual headphone” Perisphere and its possibilities can visit Geeks Loft at Booth 62817 in Eureka Park during CES 2026.
