Gyeonggido Business & Science Accelerator (GBSA) announced on the 10th that it won both the Grand Prize and the Encouragement Award at the Gyeonggi-do Public Institution Excellent Policy Evaluation, in recognition of its achievements in digital administrative innovation and AI-based business support.

At the evaluation held on September 30, GBSA was highly praised for its initiatives “Paperless Accounting Administration” and “Generative AI-based Business Support Platform, Gyeonggi Business Secretary,” which were recognized as leading models of efficiency in public administration and digital transformation in business support.

The evaluation is a system that comprehensively reviews 25 public institutions in Gyeonggi-do to assess policy planning, administrative efficiency, and the level of digital innovation, and to select outstanding cases.

The “Paperless Accounting Administration” project was the first in the public sector to establish a full-scale electronic document-based administrative system, eliminating paper documents from all accounting processes. This initiative drew attention for enhancing budget execution speed and transparency, while achieving real-time verification and advanced management of accounting data.

Through this initiative, GBSA reduced administrative time for approval and accounting tasks by more than 40% and doubled the response time for business support inquiries.

The “AI Gyeonggi Business Secretary” is the nation’s first customized business support platform powered by generative AI. Companies can quickly access information on financial, technological, and export support policies via AI-based searches and even apply for programs in a single step. The system’s core feature is its ability to learn both support policy and company data, allowing it to match businesses with suitable programs and recommend personalized information, setting a new standard for administrative efficiency.

The platform’s innovation was also recognized externally, winning the Grand Prize in the Digital Management category at the “1st Korea Public Enterprise Management Awards” in September, and the Service Category Grand Prize at the “2025 Customer Satisfaction Brand Awards” on the 7th.

In addition, GBSA was named the top institution among 65 joint training centers nationwide at the “2025 Best of CHAMP” hosted by the Ministry of Employment and Labor in September, earning the Minister’s Award for its excellence in vocational training center operations.

Following its commendation by the Minister of Trade, Industry, and Energy at the National Productivity Awards last year, GBSA’s consecutive awards from central ministries over the past two years highlight its organizational innovation and strong talent development capabilities.

Building on these achievements, GBSA plans to fully implement a paperless administrative environment across all departments and expand the AI Gyeonggi Business Secretary into a Gyeonggi-style public AI model. It also aims to integrate and advance the business support system by linking the platform with related institutions across the province.

Hyun-gon Kim, President of GBSA, said, “This award demonstrates that our efforts in digital administrative innovation have led to tangible results. We will continue to drive AI-based administrative innovation and digital business support to help elevate Gyeonggi-do’s public institutions to the next level.”
