VEStellaLab (CEO Sangsu Jung) has been selected as one of the ‘2025 Promising SMEs (Small and Medium-sized Enterprises)’ by Gyeonggi Province. The program evaluates companies based on technological excellence, management innovation, employment stability, and contributions to the local economy, aiming to identify and nurture high-potential SMEs within the province. Selected companies receive a certification and plaque valid for five years, along with various benefits such as priority access to provincial support programs, financial assistance, export support, and market expansion opportunities.
Through this selection, VEStellaLab’s technological excellence and market competitiveness in its “AI-based parking optimization solution” have been officially recognized. The company’s flagship product, “Watchmile,” which incorporates world-class indoor positioning technology, uses Physical AI that fuses Vision AI with positioning data to interpret spatial environments intelligently. By leveraging existing CCTV surveillance systems, Watchmile can precisely analyze parking space occupancy, monitor real-time availability, and guide drivers to the most suitable parking spot based on individual preferences.
A key feature of VEStellaLab’s Physical AI technology is its ability to enhance the intelligence of indoor infrastructures—such as CCTVs and positioning sensors—so that autonomous vehicles and robots can utilize critical spatial data for indoor navigation and parking. The company’s solutions are currently deployed in major facilities, including Seoul Station and Cheonho Station public parking lots, as well as at KINTEX, large residential complexes, and industrial centers.
CEO Sangsu Jung stated, “Being selected as a Promising SME of Gyeonggi Province officially validates VEStellaLab’s technological competitiveness and growth potential. We will continue advancing our R&D and technology innovation to become a leading smart mobility company representing Gyeonggi Province and a globally competitive technology enterprise.”
VEStellaLab is also expanding globally by supplying its AI-based parking optimization solutions—powered by advanced indoor positioning and Vision AI—to the United States, Saudi Arabia, and other international markets. The company is establishing tailored technology strategies suited to local infrastructure environments and operational conditions while strengthening partnerships with local companies. It continues to expand its business presence through large-scale landmark projects, including airports, complex malls, and smart cities.
