AhnLab participated in “Security Days Fall 2025 Tokyo,” held from October 21 (Tuesday) to 24 (Friday) in Tokyo, Japan.
Held every spring and autumn, Security Days is Japan’s leading cybersecurity exhibition, where industry professionals share the latest cyber threat trends and countermeasure strategies.
At the event, AhnLab operated an independent booth on IT-OT convergence Cyber-Physical System (CPS) Security and hosted an expert speech session to engage local industry professionals. The booth drew IT and security specialists from both public and private sectors, who explored product demonstrations and consultations.
Amid a rise in cyberattacks targeting Japanese manufacturing companies—leading to production and distribution disruptions—AhnLab showcased its comprehensive CPS security platform “AhnLab CPS Plus,” which protects both OT and IT environments. The company emphasized that by combining “AhnLab EPS,” an endpoint protection solution for special-purpose systems, with “AhnLab XTD,” an OT network security solution, organizations can achieve complete visibility of their assets across endpoints and networks.
Manufacturing professionals at the venue expressed interest in how these solutions could help minimize blind spots within CPS environments and clearly identify assets and protection targets. They also responded positively to the platform-centric approach that allows integrated management of multiple solutions across OT and IT from a central console, ensuring strong security without adding system load.
On October 24 (Friday), AhnLab Japan’s Manager, Kawakami Takahiro, delivered an expert speech session titled “Rising Cyber Risks in the Smart Factory Era.” He discussed the growing threats in smart manufacturing environments and offered actionable CPS security insights for local professionals.
