AI care robot company Mr.Mind (CEO Sungjin Jang) participated in the 18th Seongnam Citizen Health Expo held at Yuldong Park in Seongnam on the 19th, where it unveiled its AI companion doll ‘Chorong-i.’
The expo featured various experiential booths aimed at promoting the health and well-being of Seongnam citizens, and Mr.Mind introduced its AI care technology, designed for emotional interaction and health monitoring.
Chorong-i goes beyond simple conversation functions. Using accumulated dialogue data, its AI analyzes emotional changes and signs of potential health issues, and can generate selective reports when needed.
Equipped with a motion detection sensor, it detects changes in the user’s movement to help prevent solitary deaths or household accidents. It includes an emergency call feature that allows rescue requests through voice commands. This enables early detection and response to signs such as depression, loneliness, or changes in sleep and eating patterns among older people.
Currently, Chorong-i is distributed to over 60 local governments and organizations across South Korea, and citizens can use it free of charge through their local municipal offices. Mr.Mind supports this initiative to make AI care services accessible to more people without a financial burden.
A Mr.Mind representative said, “Chorong-i is displayed at the Seongnam Senior Industry Innovation Center’s Elderly-Friendly Hall, and we’re delighted to introduce not only Chorong-i but also the care robot market to Seongnam citizens through this health expo.”
Mr.Mind plans to continue enhancing its AI-based emotional dialogue, anomaly detection, and emergency response features so that its AI care robots can serve as reliable safety companions in citizens’ daily lives.
