Team NAVER will participate in the global tech conference ‘LEAP 2025,’ known as the ‘CES of Saudi Arabia,’ to showcase its AI solutions tailored to Saudi Arabia’s unique culture and language. The company will present its comprehensive AI value chain, integrating data centers, cloud infrastructure, and AI models.
Following its participation in LEAP 2024, which signed MOUs with Aramco Digital and SAPTCO, Team NAVER is advancing its presence in the Middle Eastern market. This year, it will participate under the theme ‘AI for Saudi Arabia, Powered by NAVER,’ demonstrating its AI ecosystem spanning data centers, cloud services, and AI models.
During the event, Team NAVER will emphasize the importance of sovereign AI in preserving Saudi Arabia’s cultural heritage through a presentation titled ‘NAVER AI Value Chain for Digital Heritage Preservation.’ The presentation will highlight the risks of poorly trained AI misrepresenting cultural artifacts—such as Saudi’s traditional coffee being mistaken for a generic Middle Eastern beverage or ‘Mada’in Saleh’ being confused with Jordan’s ‘Petra.’ Drawing from its experience as the world’s third developer of a native-language-based LLM, NAVER will propose AI development strategies that respect Saudi linguistic and cultural identity.
The company will also showcase real-world applications of its AI value chain, including AI-powered educational tools, AI-assisted medical record transcription, automated media content analysis, and business productivity enhancements through HyperCLOVA X. These solutions, including AI tutors, voice EMR for doctors, media AI for video search, and NAVER Works for collaboration, will demonstrate localization potential for Saudi Arabia’s market.
In addition, Team NAVER will exhibit key infrastructure models supporting its AI ecosystem. Attendees can explore scaled models of NAVER’s world-class eco-friendly data center ‘GAK,’ including servers, UPS systems, emergency generators, HVAC units, and the GARO robotic system. The exhibition will also feature the hybrid cloud service ‘Neurocloud’ and a digital twin representation of the city of Medina.

LEAP 2025, organized by the Saudi Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT), is the Middle East’s largest technology exhibition. It will be held in Riyadh from February 9 to 12, featuring over 680 startups, 1,000 speakers, and 1,800 tech brands.
