SoyNet (co-CEOs Yongho Kim and Jung-Woo Park) announced on the 24th that its product has been officially registered as a venture startup product by Korea’s Public Procurement Service. This designation aims to facilitate venture startups' market entry and expand public procurement opportunities.

Through this recognition, SoyNet plans to meet the demand for multilingual interpretation in the public sector, boost sales in the domestic market, and eventually expand into global markets.

SoyNet’s cloud-based multilingual simultaneous interpretation service, DABAR Realtime Broadcasting, supports recognizing 37 languages and provides interpretation in 124 languages in real-time, delivering subtitles and audio outputs. This innovation is expected to revolutionize the subtitles and interpretation market.

Jung-Woo Park, Co-CEO of SoyNet, stated, “Within three years, we foresee AI replacing human-centric interpretation in the global market, though individual foreign language skills will still play a vital role socially.”

He added, “SoyNet’s simultaneous interpretation service targets international conferences requiring multilingual interpretation, small-scale international seminars, and missionaries or business professionals frequently traveling abroad. The service offers tiered options—free, basic, and premium users—with interpretation provided via subtitles and audio. The audience can ask questions during interpretation, and a summarized report of the entire seminar is available post-session.”

SoyNet seeks partners in universities, public sectors, and missionary organizations to expand its market reach. Leveraging its accumulated AI expertise, the company is focused on delivering market-driven services and securing investment to fuel global market entry.
