GoQba Technology (CEO Jin Y Park) participated in the ‘2024 Pangyo Global Media MeetUp,’ held on December 10 at the Gyeonggi Startup Campus in Pangyo Techno Valley.
The event, targeting the Japanese and Vietnamese markets, was organized by Pangyo Techno Valley TV and featured Japan's tech media Gadgetouch and Vietnam’s state-run media Vietnam Plus, highlighting the innovative technologies and achievements of Pangyo-based companies.
GoQba Technology joined an online interview with Vietnam’s media alongside Homenay, while SMT and Brain Ventures held in-person interviews with Japanese media.
Since its establishment in 2017, GoQba Technology has developed elderly care solutions targeting dementia and Alzheimer’s disease. Recently, the company expanded into the infertility treatment sector by developing AI-powered tools supporting Assisted Reproductive Technology (ART). Its partnership with CHA Fertility Center, South Korea's largest infertility clinic, has driven innovation in infertility diagnosis and treatment.

GoQba Technology’s flagship product showcased at the event was ASMIT, an AI-based sperm analysis system for diagnosing male infertility. In collaboration with CHA Fertility Center, the company gathered real-world data from 1,025 male infertility patients. Using YOLOV8 and EfficientNet models, ASMIT analyzes sperm motility and morphology with high accuracy and reliability. The system predicts male infertility and accelerates analysis time from three to four hours to 15 seconds, enhancing treatment efficiency.
ASMIT’s automated AI-driven analysis reduces errors commonly found in manual methods, delivering fast and precise results. Its advanced algorithms combine sperm motility data with patient-specific factors such as age, enabling accurate predictions of unexplained male infertility and chromosomal abnormalities in embryos.
GoQba Technology has identified Japan, Vietnam, Singapore, and Australia as key markets for ASMIT. The company has signed an NDA with Singapore’s KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital IVF Center and is collaborating with City Fertility in Australia. It also plans to expand its AI-powered infertility diagnostic services through partnerships with leading infertility clinics and hospitals in Japan and Vietnam.
Additionally, GoQba Technology signed an AI development agreement with Australia’s Fertility and an LOI with Cleveland University Hospital’s IVF Center in the U.S. Leveraging its global network, the company aims to lead innovation in infertility treatment using AI technology while strengthening its international market presence.
The ‘2024 Pangyo Global Media MeetUp’ concluded successfully, earning praise for providing a platform for Pangyo’s innovative companies to strengthen their presence in the global market.
