Hancom Academy, an edtech subsidiary of HANCOM (CEO Jong Heon Kim), has signed a strategic Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Digiwill (CEO Seok Hwan Hong), a leading company specializing in future classroom and meeting systems, to collaborate on developing smart class solutions.
The partnership aims to combine both companies’ technological expertise and business insights to foster mutual growth and reinforce their cooperative relationship. The collaboration will focus on national research projects and extend to public, corporate, and private sectors, contributing to digital education innovation through technical support and information sharing.
Over the past 20 years, Hancom Academy has been at the forefront of IT, software, AI, data analytics, autonomous driving, and drone education. Recently, it has expanded its portfolio to include metaverse and AI-based educational platforms, driving advancements in digital education.
Digiwill has established itself as a leader in developing smart class and meeting systems, focusing on schools. Its AI-driven interactive education system, “Class-i,” has been recognized for delivering optimized solutions tailored to educational environments.
The collaboration between the two companies is expected to yield innovative business models by leveraging their combined strengths.
