Neowiz (Co-CEOs Seungchul Kim and Tae-Gun Bae) announced that its subsidiary, StickyHands Inc. (CEO Min Woo Kim), has released digital goodies to celebrate the 1.5-year anniversary of its globally popular game Merge Survival: Wasteland.
Merge Survival introduced a collection of wallpapers and social media profile images featuring the game’s charming dog character, “Seed,” and iconic in-game items to mark the milestone. These assets, designed for use on PCs, mobile devices, and smartwatches, reflect the game’s playful and vibrant aesthetic. Players can also claim in-game rewards such as “Energy,” “Coins,” “Jewels,” “Backpacks,” and “Seed’s Antique Hourglass,” along with a “1.5th Anniversary Balloon” decoration for their camps. The coupon codes are available on official community channels, including Discord, Facebook, Instagram, and X (formerly Twitter), and can be redeemed on the official coupon page throughout December.
The anniversary update introduced engaging new content to enhance gameplay. In the “Treasure Race in the Wasteland,” players race in real-time, completing missions to collect golden magnifiers. The first to reach the treasure wins exclusive rewards. Another feature, “Puzzle Diary,” allows players to collect memory fragments from event missions to assemble puzzles and complete illustrated character diaries, earning in-game rewards and viewing new visuals. “Seed’s Christmas Operation” also lets players use luck points earned from gameplay to draw random rewards. Achieving a set number of draws unlocks Christmas-themed items such as a Rudolph Bench, Nutcracker Soldier, and Christmas Tree to decorate survival camps with a festive touch.

Developed by StickyHands Inc., Merge Survival: Wasteland was launched globally in May 2022. Set in a post-apocalyptic world devastated by environmental destruction, the game follows the journey of survivors in Eden as they build a survival camp with their companions. With its strong narrative tied to each quest and unique puzzle mechanics allowing players to merge items to complete missions, the game delivers an engaging and immersive experience.
