AhnLab (CEO Suk Kyoon Kang) successfully held its security strategy seminar, “AhnLab ISF SQUARE 2024 for Enterprise,” on November 27. The seminar targeted corporate security professionals.
The “AhnLab ISF SQUARE” series is a customer-centric security strategy seminar held multiple times yearly for clients across various industries. At this event, AhnLab shared insights on the latest security threats, threat intelligence (TI) use, and practical strategies for strengthening organizational security, including Golfzon’s case study of implementing “AhnLab XDR.”
Hayoung Yang, Director of AhnLab Security Emergency Response Center (ASEC), presented on “Latest Security Trends,” discussing recent cyber threats such as vulnerability exploits, ransomware, and phishing attacks analyzed by AhnLab. She also highlighted the company’s threat intelligence platform, “AhnLab TIP,” as a key resource for responding to these threats. Yang stated, “Effective security strategies must begin with understanding the latest threat information. AhnLab TIP provides tailored threat intelligence to help clients proactively manage various risks.”
Junghoon Kim, Head of Golfzon’s Information Security Team, shared insights into their adoption and operational expertise of the SaaS-based security threat analysis platform “AhnLab XDR.” He remarked, “We chose AhnLab XDR to enhance synergy with our existing security solutions and manage increasingly complex threats efficiently. By linking and analyzing diverse threat detection events across our systems and prioritizing optimal responses, we achieved a 56% reduction in threat risk.”
In his opening remarks, KJay Kang Jung Kim, Head of Strategic Enterprise Sales at AhnLab, emphasized, “As the scale of corporate damage from cyberattacks grows, interest in proactive solutions like TI and XDR is increasing. AhnLab will continue delivering optimized security services, ensuring our clients can focus on their business safely.”
