Gopher Soft, the operator of the cross-border e-commerce (CBEC) solution “SellerJipsa,” has completed applications for four e-commerce-related technology patents in South Korea, setting the stage for its global market entry. The company is also pursuing PCT (International Patent Cooperation Treaty) and Japanese patent applications, gaining attention for its competitive technological capabilities.
SellerJipsa streamlines the online overseas purchasing agency services process, offering convenience to sellers and consumers. By automating complex CBEC processes, the solution enables anyone to start online sales with ease.
Based in Pangyo Startup Campus, Gopher Soft is supported by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups and managed by the Korea Institute of Startup & Entrepreneurship Development (KISED) and the Gyeonggi Center for Creative Economy & Innovation (GCCEI).
Developed with support from the TIPS program and startup-centered universities, SellerJipsa entered open beta service last October. This marks a promising leap forward in the CBEC market.
Recently, Gopher Soft signed an MOU with global logistics company Sungwon Global Cargo, successfully reducing delivery times for sellers engaged in overseas purchasing agency services on open markets. With this achievement, Gopher Soft is solidifying its presence as a domestic and international CBEC player while preparing patent applications targeting Japanese and global markets with support from the IP Narae Program.
CEO Yune Seok Kim stated, “Japan is our initial target market, and we are proactively pursuing patent applications there, with plans to continue patent filings targeting global markets.” He also highlighted that Gopher Soft boasts top-tier researchers dedicated to technological development and a management team, half of whom are graduates of leading Chinese universities specializing in e-commerce. This positions the company to deliver transformative innovations in the e-commerce sector.
