Team Naver announced its participation in the Cityscape Global 2024, held from November 11 to 14 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. In collaboration with the National Housing Company (NHC), Korea Land and Geospatial Informatix Corporation (LX), and Korea Water Resources Corporation, Team Naver will showcase its ongoing digital twin platform project for Saudi Arabia.
Cityscape Global 2024, the world’s largest exhibition for construction, architecture, proptech, and real estate, is themed “The Future of Living.” This year, the event will be the largest ever, featuring over 400 exhibitors, more than 500 speakers, and seven conferences.
Under the slogan, Build a Future City with Digital Twin Now, Team Naver will present alongside NHC, LX, and Korea Water Resources Corporation. Their booth will highlight the achievements of the digital twin platform project with NHC, offering visitors a chance to experience innovative technologies firsthand.
The booth is divided into three sections:
- Diorama Media Table displaying digital twin scenarios such as flood simulations, urban planning, and traffic system setups
- VR Experience Zone where visitors can explore NHC housing projects through Naver’s digital twin solution, ALIKE
- A media display for presentations on Naver’s technology
These immersive experiences will showcase the current applications and future possibilities of digital twin technology.
Team Naver’s participation in this event follows its March appearance at LEAP 2024, Saudi Arabia’s largest tech exhibition, underscoring Naver’s commitment to entering the Saudi market. Last October, Naver achieved a milestone as the first Korean company to export digital twin technology to Saudi Arabia, marking a partnership with Saudi Arabian cities to build digital twin platforms. Following a project launch ceremony in July, Team Naver, in collaboration with LX and Korea Water Resources Corporation, has been developing services such as flood simulations and urban planning simulations. The digital twin data for Jeddah, one of the key cities, is complete, with an initial service launch planned for early next year.
Yuwon Kim, CEO of Naver Cloud, stated, “Through collaboration with NHC, Team Naver is leading the digital twin project, contributing to Saudi Arabia’s vision of smart cities. This exhibition will showcase our advanced technology and expand our business into the Middle East and other global markets.”
