Neowiz (Co-CEOs Seungchul Kim and Tae-Geun Bae) announced that the game Goodbye Seoul: Itaewon, published by Neowiz, will be featured at G-STAR 2024, Korea’s largest game show, held from November 14 to 17 at BEXCO, Busan.

Goodbye Seoul: Itaewon will be on display in the BTC (Business to Consumer) Hall 1 at the Korea Creative Content Agency (KOCCA) booth and in the G-STAR Indie Showcase in Hall 2, allowing attendees to experience the game alongside other domestic and international titles in a collaborative booth format.

The G-STAR 2024 will unveil a new build for Goodbye Seoul: Itaewon, exclusively available on-site. Following positive responses from the game’s Steam demo release, Neowiz aims to provide visitors with a fresh experience through this updated version. Various fan events will also be held, including official merchandise giveaways, a roulette event, and an SNS follow-up event for booth visitors.

Jino Kim, CEO of JINO Games and the lead developer of Goodbye Seoul: Itaewon, will speak at the G-STAR Game Conference (GCON) on November 14. His session, “A Solo Developer’s Dream: The Journey of Failure and Retry with Goodbye, Seoul,” will offer insights into the game’s development journey.

The narrative-driven puzzle adventure game Goodbye Seoul: Itaewon combines a post-apocalyptic storyline with 2D side-scrolling action and stunning neon-lit pixel art. Recognized at the Busan Indie Connect Festival 2024, it won the Grand Prize and Art Award in the general category, building significant anticipation among indie game enthusiasts.
