YakMunYakDap (YMYD), a platform designed for pharmacists, launched its new service, ‘Today’s Quiz,’ on October 21. This service aims to help pharmacists enhance and maintain their pharmaceutical knowledge through an engaging quiz format.
More than 30,000 pharmacists in Korea use the YakMunYakDap app, with around 10,000 pharmacists visiting daily. The app features a variety of content through discussion boards, including academic discussions, professional gatherings, news, and articles. About 3,000 new posts are made monthly, and over 50,000 posts have accumulated in the past four years.
‘Today’s Quiz’ was developed using generative AI technology. It offers pharmacists a quick and effective way to review and expand their knowledge. The quizzes help pharmacists stay updated on new pharmaceutical information and increase their practical application in real-world settings.
During a two-week beta test in March, more than 1,000 pharmacists participated in the daily quiz. Over 95% of the respondents expressed satisfaction with the quiz service, highlighting its effectiveness as a learning tool.
The quiz questions are selected from top-quality posts that have garnered significant interest over the past four years on YakMunYakDap’s academic boards. AI transforms the content into a quiz format, allowing pharmacists to test their knowledge and learn about new drug information or guidelines.

Pharmacists can participate in three daily quizzes, with immediate access to the correct answers and explanations. Many pharmacists find the quiz format useful for refreshing their knowledge, noting its efficiency and ease of use.
