VEStellaLab (CEO Sangsu Jung), the provider of the real-time parking navigation system ‘Watchmile,’ recently announced that its real-time integrated parking control system ‘ParkOps’ has earned GS Certification Level 1 from the Telecommunications Technology Association (TTA). The GS Certification is a national system that verifies the quality of software products based on international standards to ensure reliability for consumers and businesses.

ParkOps received the highest grade—Level 1—after excelling in nine evaluation categories: functional suitability, performance efficiency, compatibility, and security.

ParkOps is a real-time control system that manages parking data in one integrated platform. An AI model based on LLM (Large Language Model) can accurately analyze parking occupancy using only pre-installed security CCTV footage. The LLM generates large prompts, allowing the AI to self-improve its vehicle recognition accuracy. Regardless of size, it identifies various vehicle types and accurately detects vehicles irrespective of their angle in the footage.

This AI-driven system resolves the inaccuracies of traditional parking guidance systems in recognizing parking occupancy. The AI-generated results are provided in real-time, enabling managers to control multiple parking lots through a single platform.

With the GS Certification, ParkOps qualifies for priority procurement by public institutions and benefits from several institutional advantages, such as contracts through the Public Procurement Service and registration with the Korean government’s procurement system.

Sangsu Jung, CEO of VEStellaLab, stated, “The GS Certification Level 1 recognition reaffirms VEStellaLab’s technological strength.” He added, “We aim to become a global leader in the autonomous parking market by continuously investing in research and development to enhance product competitiveness. We aim to make parking faster and more convenient for users while promoting a pleasant environment in parking lots, contributing to ESG practices.”
