VEStellaLab, a leading provider of parking navigation solutions, announced its participation in GITEX-Expand North Star 2024, held from October 13 to 16 in Dubai, UAE. The company will showcase its smart parking navigation system, Watchmile, and autonomous driving V2I solution, ZeroCruising.

GITEX North Star, the world’s largest startup exhibition, is held alongside GITEX Global and features over 1,800 startups and 1,000 venture capital firms from around the globe. The event offers numerous opportunities for companies to present their cutting-edge technology and services to global investors and buyers through competitions, conferences, and a matchmaking system.

VEStellaLab will introduce Watchmile, an indoor parking navigation system, and ZeroCruising, an autonomous driving V2I solution, at this event. Watchmile is the world’s first service to provide optimal parking guidance in GPS-deprived areas like indoor parking lots. It uses advanced technologies such as AI-based object recognition, non-GPS precise positioning, dynamic map generation, and optimal route algorithms. The system guides drivers to the best parking spots in real-time, significantly reducing parking time by more than 70% and cutting fuel consumption and emissions.

Watchmile is already used at Incheon International Airport, Seoul Station, and large residential complexes. In addition, the company will showcase its ZeroCruising V2I solution, which enhances the safety of autonomous vehicles in indoor parking environments by providing real-time safety information, such as pedestrian movement and unexpected obstacles.

CEO Sangsu Jung commented, “Dubai is experiencing rapid population growth, resulting in increased traffic and parking challenges. Watchmile offers an innovative solution to urban parking issues, and we are ready to bring our technology to the Middle Eastern market. We aim to support sustainable growth in the region by offering customized smart city and digital twin solutions.”

VEStellaLab is also expanding globally, supplying smart parking solutions to partners in the U.S. and Saudi Arabia, and is actively working to deploy its systems at key landmarks worldwide.
