Starchium Showcases ‘ZAZAERO,’ a Unified Interior Material Ordering Service, and Wins 2nd Place in the ESG-League of the G-Star Audition

Starchium’s booth at 2024 Gyeonggi Startup Summit


Starchium (CEO Jeong Wan Lee) garnered significant attention at the recent Gyeonggi Startup Summit by introducing ‘ZAZAERO,’ an integrated interior materials ordering service.

‘ZAZAERO’ operates as an interior materials website, providing a platform where users can conveniently purchase high-quality materials worldwide at more affordable rates. This service facilitates the discovery and purchasing of materials suitable for specific construction sites and includes a return function to support efficient materials management.

Starchium is developing a multinational digital payment automation system, real-time delivery information, and a smart shared warehouse system for each country to establish a convenient digital transaction environment. These initiatives aim to eliminate the inconveniences of analog face-to-face and telephone transactions in the materials trade market, offering a more effective trading method.

‘ZAZAERO’ introduces digital trading devices into the distribution supply chain and establishes a system that selects the best supplier based on on-site order lists to facilitate smooth order processing. This process has also set up a supply network where material quality and order responsiveness have been validated through more than ten processes.

Starchium noted, “Familiarity with traditional ordering methods by construction companies has been the biggest barrier in the digital transition process. However, we have verified that the reorder rate for companies that conducted their first orders through ‘ZAZAERO’ is over 84%.”

Furthermore, Starchium achieved second place in the 2024 G-Star Audition ‘ESG-League’ held at the Gyeonggi Startup Summit. The ‘G-Star Audition’ is a global startup IR pitching competition that discovers and provides growth opportunities to potential entrepreneurs and startups under seven years old with innovative ideas and items in various fields, including AI and biotech.

The competition was divided into three leagues considering the growth stage and characteristics of startups: Pre-League (all sectors), Scale-up League (deep tech sector), and ESG League (sustainable and social problem-solving industry).

The Gyeonggi Startup Summit is an essential platform for energizing the startup ecosystem. Various innovative companies participate to introduce their technologies and services. For Starchium, this event was a valuable opportunity to showcase the potential of ‘ZAZAERO’ and explore growth opportunities in domestic and international markets.

They also support the Pangyo Overseas Promotion Program to publicize information about Pangyo’s companies, products, and services to domestic and foreign investors and the media, thereby facilitating foreign investment.
