The second edition of the 2024 Pangyo Startup Investment Exchange, ‘In-Best Pangyo,’ will take place on September 26 at the Suwon Convention Center. This event allows promising startups based in Pangyo Techno Valley 1 and 2 to connect with investors and explore global expansion and funding opportunities. It is part of Gyeonggi-do's 2024 Global Startup Development Program.

"In-Best Pangyo" offers innovative startups in the Gyeonggi region a platform to meet with domestic and international investors. 16 startups have been selected to engage in 1:1 investment consultations and networking with G-Fund investors and venture capitalists (VCs). Through IR pitching sessions, startups will introduce their technologies and visions to investors, paving the way for global market entry.

This second investment exchange builds upon the success of the first event. During the first round, nine companies and 27 investors participated, conducting 66 1:1 investment consultations. As a result, 24 investment reviews were requested, making up 36.4% of all consultations, and four follow-up meetings were successfully arranged. Notable examples include meetings between Korea Deep Learning and Kyobo Securities, KC Investment Partners, Mirroid, and discussions between Hyosung Ventures and NaviON Partners. Additionally, LISCure Biosciences is undergoing an investment review with Focus Asset Management, while A Ventures is in talks with another investment firm.

"In-Best Pangyo" is a key component of Gyeonggi-do's Global Startup Development Program for 2024. This program aims to support the global expansion of startups with promising technologies based on the innovation capabilities of Pangyo Techno Valley and activate the startup ecosystem in the region.

Key elements of the program include global acceleration support, commercialization funding, investment exchange events, and translation services. Twelve startups will be selected for global acceleration support, with more than half targeting overseas markets. Additionally, 20 startups with high international market potential will receive up to 50 million KRW in commercialization funding.

As a flagship event of Gyeonggi-do's Global Startup Development Program, "In-Best Pangyo" is expected to accelerate the global growth of Pangyo Techno Valley startups and serve as a vital opportunity for innovative business ideas to shine on the world stage.

Pangyo Techno Valley is a global integrated R&D hub focused on IT, BT, CT, and NT, integrating Research (R), People (P), Information (I), and Trade (T).
