AhnLab (CEO Kang Suk-Kyoon)’s smartphone security solution, ‘V3 Mobile Security’, has obtained certification with perfect scores across all categories in the July 2024 evaluation by the global security product performance test ‘AV-TEST.’
AV-TEST is a global security certification evaluation organized by the AV-TEST Institute, a German IT security research institution that evaluates security solutions from major companies worldwide.
In July, V3 Mobile Security participated in the AV-TEST Antivirus Software for the Android category and scored perfect marks (6 points per category, 18 points total) in three evaluation categories: Protection (malware detection capability), Performance (impact on smartphone performance when the product is running), and Usability (false positives of malicious apps). Notably, it recorded a 100% malware detection rate in the Protection category.
Since 2013, V3 Mobile Security has participated in the AV-TEST 67 times, achieving certification every time. AhnLab holds the record for the most AV-TEST certifications among smartphone security products in Korea.
